Like King, I grew up with guns in the house. I learnt to shoot, I've hunted, I've had the endless discussions about gun ownership. And like King I've come to realise that as great a hobby as shooting is, it makes us all unsafe.
I'll forgive King for a few of his errors (interchangeably referring to mags and clips, high capacity being a vague term, etc) as his overall message is actually very well argued. This essay is well worth a read.
Also, it is hilarious that negative reviewers obviously didn't get as far into the essay to notice King had already highlighted the points that they would make. Hear no evil.... la-la-la-la-la.... lol.
