Ringworld - Larry Niven I wanted Ringworld to engage me more. This is an adventure novel. There is a hard sci-fi element to the novel as well. We follow explorers as they are recruited to travel to and to explore Ringworld. Yet everything seemed to just fly past like the hovercycles trying to get to the edge of the ring. What should have been a fascinating novel packed with adventure was merely an interesting concept. And don't get me started on the way Teela is spoken about. The 3 star rating is probably a star high.
